Online Trauma Therapy for Women

Heal from the lasting impact of childhood adversity, break painful relational cycles, and reclaim your sense of safety - from the comfort of your own home.

You may be managing work, family and everyone else’s needs while finding little space for yourself. Perhaps you overthink conversations, struggle to say no, or feel that whatever you do is never quite enough.

Therapy offers time to understand what you are carrying, explore the patterns affecting your life and find ways forward that feel right for you.

I’m Aisha Abdulsalam Winningah, a BACP-accredited counsellor and integrative psychotherapist. I offer online therapy for adult women in the UK and eligible international locations.

Online sessions • 50 minutes • £70 per individual session

You do not need to have everything worked out before you begin

You might be seeking support with anxiety and overthinking, emotional exhaustion, people-pleasing, boundaries, self-criticism or recurring relationship difficulties. You may also want to understand the impact of difficult childhood experiences, or explore identity, culture and belonging.

You do not need to describe your experience as trauma to ask for help. We can begin with what is affecting you now.

A space where your experience is taken seriously

My approach combines a supportive therapeutic relationship, exploration of earlier experiences and practical strategies for everyday difficulties. We agree the focus together and review how the work is helping.

My Ghanaian heritage and experiences of living in Norway and the UK inform my sensitivity to culture, faith and belonging. I remain curious about what these mean to you, without assuming our experiences are the same.

Beginning therapy

Start with a free 15-minute video consultation to ask questions and explore whether we could work well together. If you decide to continue, we arrange an initial 50-minute session and discuss your needs, goals and options for ongoing support.
